In 1995, I began practicing law in Fairfax, Virginia. My firm, Thomas B. Haddock, Attorney at Law was started with the simple premise of providing quality legal counsel with a personalized approach, and that approach still drives my practice today.
While every legal matter must be taken seriously, I also believe in doing so in a way that minimizes the amount of stress faced by clients. When prospective clients come to my office, they are worried and confused. Whether they have just been arrested, have decided to file for divorce, or are have a dispute with a tenant or landlord, their stress can be overwhelming.
As a lawyer, one of my jobs is to provide professional representation in manner that furthers clients' objectives. I hope to provide a sense of comfort for my clients and the peace of mind that their case is being handled in a professional, efficient and thorough manner.
A Sense of Community in Fairfax, Virginia
My office is located within walking distance to the Fairfax County Courthouse near the intersection of Main Street (Route 236) and Chain Bridge Road (Route 123). An area rich in history that began in the 1700s when town founder Richard Ratcliffe donated the land for the original Fairfax County Courthouse. The building has survived more than 250 years, and stands as a symbol of justice for Virginia and the United States of America.
Across the street from our office, a cemetery from the Civil War reminds me of my responsibility to maintain those ideals of justice. I do that by being honest with my clients, by hearing their concerns and by offering solutions to their legal problems. I maintain a strong commitment to the community of Fairfax and the surrounding areas of Northern Virginia and understand that a client is a real person with real issues.
